Entry #4

This piece is from the northern song chinese dynasty. I love how simple and delicate it looks. It looks like something that would be used during special ceremonies. The designs on it are small and simple but they compliment the feet on this and go perfectly with the overall look! It almost looks like ther is a person dancing in between the flowers or like the flowers and the shape in the middle are blowing in the wind.

These pieces are Teotihuaca pottery. At first glance it looks like the design on the pots are random and done for creative purposes but after looking closely you can see that they were put there to tell a story. I love that these pieces make you look closer and captivate you making you wonder what story they're supposed to be telling.

This piece from the Silla Dynasty has got to be one of my favoites. The colors on the top and bottom really compliment eachothe, yet the sam design is used throughout making it all fit together. The handle and the overall shape of it remind me of the outdoors, like walking through a medow or someplace equally relaxing.
