A pot above water

This pot by Deborah Schwartzkopf I found on the accessCeramics website. I found that most ceramic artists that made pots, cups, bowls or plates usually threw the form on the wheel and then altered it to their desire. I love the shape and gazes that she used on this particular piece although the lid looks a bit small for functionality. I looks as though stuff would easily get stuck inside.

The tray above is made by a Peter Biddulph. His use in texturing and glazes make for a very visually appealing platter although if it were displaying crackers they might get a bit wet.
...and a few *cough* masterpiece ideas of my own.
