Journal # 3 Bowls - Madeleine Hokanson

Warren MacKenzie work is always fasinating because he always makes his work seem or look a little older in its time then it really is. he also adds different shapes like in this picture some of the bowls look like they are one their own stands.
Shoji Hamada work is more traditional and story telling for some of his pieces. this particular one is one of his more basic. But as you can see it also as a small stand like the first.
Linda Arbuckle bowls are much more bright and festive such as this bowl. it has more spring colors then winter or fall. she used the bright green to bring out the orange in the leaves.
Suze Lindsay, now his work is more basic with its colors too but still has that almost traditional sense but also an artifact as well.
