John Gill's piece caught my eye for its color. It's
completely contemporary feel is apparent. It seems like a tray people in large
cities would use (the martini olive reminds me of this).
Kristen Kieffer's lovely light blue piece reminds me of
Cinderella's pumpkin carriage. I love the ornate details in the scrolls and the
physical shape looks like a corset.
My personal favorite of this group is Mary Barringer's
serving tray. It has an organic shape that gives it movement. The color and
texture provide interest.
Tara Wilson's piece looks like a pregnant body and has a
nice flow to it. It has a subtle natural-color pallet and a nice speckled
pattern.
