I really like the aspect of the eyes in this piece. The rest of the head structure and other parts all are very realistic however the eyes are not. I feel this conveys a lot of emotion in the same way that making wrinkles or facial expressions expresses emotion. I feel the eyes also connect this piece to the space around it very well. I definitely took some inspiration from this piece.
