I like the way Jacob Foran incorporates musical instruments as headdresses on his pieces. This one especially was really cool with multiple trumpet bells fused into one hat. The shining brass of the hat contrasts the dullness of head, in material that the head is made of and in expression of the face. |

Visual: To enhance your awareness of form and surface in utilitarian and sculptural ceramics. 3. Conceptual: To build on your basic knowledge of historical and contemporary ceramics from around the world and begin personal research.
