Getting you head together - Liz Woodard
This head inspired me because I loved how the artist made the eyes. He didn't put much shape a lot of shape into the eyes and even the mouth is relatively flat. However, the artist still is able to show where the eye starts and ends. This inspired me to try and make an Asian face for one of my projects.
I liked this artist because they were able to make such graceful lines. The neck line and definition on the clavicle and shoulders looks strong but feminine. Even just looking at the head the artist does a good job of making the figure feminine by giving it a simple hairstyle. I wanted to try the same look on one of my figures.
This figure I was not very impressed by. I cannot understand the purpose of the piece. To me it looks like it could either be a devil, a clown or a person wearing a hat. The pieces on the head make it look like a bug to me. Also, I am unsure about the meaning of the painting around the eyes...
The first one I found most beautiful; but the third by far the most fascinating. I definitely
